Your clues
- Max visited the dome.
- Lena brought the chart.
- The person with the telescope visited the lawn.
Make the matches
Tap a square to mark yes (✓), no (×), or clear it. A confirmed match rules out the rest of its row and column.

What this puzzle is about
The Observatory gathers three sky watchers, Lena, Max, and Iris, for a night of stargazing. Each chose one tool (a telescope, a chart, or a notebook) and one viewing spot: the dome, the deck, or the lawn. Three clues are enough to work out the whole picture, and there is exactly one solution.
Who it suits
This easy 3 × 3 × 3 grid has the same shape as The Market Morning and The Art Studio: two direct clues plus one clue that connects a tool to a place. It suits beginners, space-curious kids, and anyone who wants to practice using a connecting clue to rule people out. It is short enough to finish in a few minutes on screen or on paper.
How to start
Mark Max at the dome and Lena with the chart, then clear their rows and columns. Next, put the telescope-and-lawn link into the keepsakes-and-places grid. Max was at the dome, not the lawn, so think about what that means for Max and the telescope before you go any further.
How to solve this puzzle
Each person has one keepsake and visited one place. A yes mark eliminates the other options in the same row and column. Combine the clues until all three grids agree.
