The Craft Workshop

Makers used different materials at their stations. There is exactly one solution. Use each clue to match the people, keepsakes and places.

Your clues

  1. Cleo visited the workbench.
  2. Bea brought the paper.
  3. The person with the yarn visited the front table.

Make the matches

Tap a square to mark yes (✓), no (×), or clear it. A confirmed match rules out the rest of its row and column.

What this puzzle is about

The Craft Workshop is a short deduction puzzle about three makers, Bea, Cleo, and Hugo. Each used one material (the paper, the yarn, or the wood) at one station: the front table, the workbench, or the patio. Three clues are enough to work out who worked with what and where. There is exactly one solution, and you never need to guess.

Who it suits

This is an easy 3 × 3 × 3 grid with two direct clues and one connecting clue that links a material to a station without naming the maker. That makes it a good step up from all-direct puzzles and a tidy introduction to using the third grid. It suits beginners, crafty kids, and anyone who wants a quick puzzle on screen or on paper. It pairs well with the Craft Workshop word search.

How to start

Mark Cleo at the workbench and Bea with the paper, then clear their rows and columns. Put the yarn-and-front-table link in the keepsakes-and-places grid. Now ask two questions: could Bea be the one with the yarn, and could Cleo be at the front table? The answers point to the yarn’s owner.

How to solve this puzzle

Each person has one keepsake and visited one place. A yes mark eliminates the other options in the same row and column. Combine the clues until all three grids agree.
